Tourism meets marine management

The InterContinental Presidente Los Cabos Resort hotel in San Jose del Cabo, Baja California Sur, Mexico, oversees the rescue of Olive Ridley turtle hatchlings. Commonly known as tortuga golfina in Mexico, the hatchlings are getting ready to make a trip into the water. A turtle hatchery housed on the hotel property releases thousands of turtles into the wild each year.
