CLEAN THE SHORELINE - 31 August is the deadline to register for the TD Great Canadian Shoreline Cleanup (http://www.vanaqua.org/cleanup), scheduled for 15-23 September 2007. Data is collected from each cleanup to determine the major (and minor)causes of shoreline litter in each region. The Canadian initiative is a contributor to the Ocean Conservancy's International Coastal Cleanup, a worldwide event that attracts more than 68 participating countries - http://www.coastalcleanup.org
